Sandi Rafal, Ed. S.
Sandi Rafal, Ed. S.
Sandi is a teacher with more than 35 years of experience. Certified in Elementary Education, Special Education, and Education of the Deaf, her current passion is working with children who have received a diagnosis of dyslexia or who are suspected of having dyslexia. Most of Sandi's experience has been as a special education teacher and a reading specialist. She is certified in the Barton Reading and Spelling System as well as the Wilson Reading System.
Upon retirement from public schools in 2019, Sandi opened Rafal Tutoring and Consulting, LLC. She serves as CEO, lead tutor, and educational consultant.
Kathleen Murray

Kathleen "Kat" Murray is an elementary teacher in Clarke County, Athens GA. She has taught for 9 years in the public school setting as a second grade teacher, kindergarten teacher, and EIP teacher. Kat has worked with children for 12 years as a Montessori teacher as well as other capacities. Kat is a tutor in the Barton Reading and Spelling System. She lives in Athens with her daughters, husband, and dog.

Sydney Morales resides in New Jersey with her two children, fiancé and cat. She is an Administrative Assistant for Rafal Tutoring and Consutling. Sydney also enjoys her personal side business where she specializes in metaphysical healing.

Jen McMullen is a graduate of UGA and now lives south of Atlanta with her husband and children. Jen is an Administrative Assistant at Rafal Tutoring and Consulting. Jen loves all things numerical, so much so ,that she creates spreadsheets for fun.

Melissa Dimmick is a recently retired ELA Interventionist and Reading Support teacher. She taught middle school reading, spelling, and writing. Melissa is completing training in the Barton Reading and Spelling System. As an avid reader herself, she is passionate about helping students who have not yet experienced the joy of reading. Melissa lives with her husband, Peter, and their son, Gabriel, in the Athens area.
